Oka, part two

It's time for the federal government to level the playing field in dealing with native lawbreakers. At Oka, the self-styled "warriors" killed a policeman. At Gustafsen Lake, the natives were firing at Mounties and servicemen. Now at Burnt Church, the natives have allegedly opened fire on commercial fishermen. As the masked and truculent "warriors" gather, it is easy to see the disastrous potential of the kid glove treatment that has not and will not work in dealing with criminal behaviour. When will our gutless and witless federal government start applying the law equally and fearlessly to everyone living in Canada?
