CIFAS is committed to (1) train researchers in ethnographic field methods, (2) recognize published research results that advance the vision, and (3) curate and offer access to the rich body of ethnographic research that was created by its founder, his colleagues, and his students.
CIFAS envisions that anthropological research methods should be systematically applied in a wide range of community and organizational contexts, to explore and analyze contemporary social problems.
